If you want to grow your business, instagram is the place to be. But to use instagram to reach your marketing goals effectively, you need to learn how to properly use instagram posts and publish content that stands out.
How to get more followers (in a nutshell):
Once your photo or video is in the gallery, you’ll have several options to create and edit a visual element for your post that will increase overall engagement rates.
Once you select an image simply tap ‘next’ to continue.
Editing An Image For A Post
Next you have to edit your image’s attributes by adding a filter, editing lighting, and adjusting its settings.
Start by adding a filter. You can add a filter by seleting one from the filter section below your image.
There’s a large selection of filters, yet we recommend you stick to a single filter once you use it for the first tiem, because, believe it or not, users will be able to recall the images used by your brand simply by recognizing the filter that you most commonly use.
Once you add a filter, you ca tap on the “lux” icon to enhance certain dynamic parameters in your image. You can click “done” once you adjust this setting.
Next up, you can tap on the “settings” icon to adjust attributes such as “brightness”, “contrast”, “structure”, “warmth”, “saturation”, “color”, “fade”, “highlights”, and “shadow”.
We recommend you experiment with these settings according to the visual effect you’d like to achieve with all your posts. Once you’ve adjusted the settings, click ‘next’ to continue.
Editing, Optimizing, and Sharing a Post
Now it’s time to add content to your image post. There are certain elements that will help you to get lots of engagement on your posts: keywords, search, terms, strategically place hashtags, a CTA (call-to-action), and targeted hashtags.
Start by creating a compelling caption filled with your target niche keywords and search term. Include actionable phrases or questions to tease users into looking for more of your content or to convince them to learn more about your brand.
Then you’re going to follow with a strategic hashtag that’s relevant to your content and your niche. After this, you’re going to insert a call-to-action (CTA) to encourage users to visit the links to your website in your bio to learn more about the content that you tease in the caption.
Finally, you’re going to add your targeted hashtags at the end of the caption. You’re going to add some of the targeted hashtags that you found during the keyword research. We recommend you add a minimum of 3 hashtags and a maximum of 9 hashtags per post.
Additionally, you can add a location to your post, tag people on your post, and share your post to Facebook, Twitter, or Tumblr directly.
Now you’re ready to reach new potential business leads with your actionable post.
